Dear brothers and sisters,
We learned tonight of the passing of +Matushka Ioanna (Janet) Mihalick, wife of our former Rector, +Archpriest Michael Mihalick. Matushka Janet reposed in the Lord this evening around 7:45, while sleeping peacefully, with her daughter Alexandra at her side. We grieve with the Mihalick family, which has struggled with illness in Fr. Michael’s life and now, in Janet’s life as well. Nevertheless, together they have borne witness to steadfast faith in the Resurrection of the Lord. Many lives have been changed and shaped by this shared and powerful witness which has helped us to see things that are unseen and hoped for.
May the memory of Archpriest Michael & Matushka Ioanna be eternal!
