With great sadness, but in faith in the Resurrection of Our Lord, we announce the untimely repose of the Servant of God, Jhon (Ioan) Chiciu, son of Ioan and Veronica Chiciu, on July 22 in Bronx, New York. Jhon is the brother of Cristina Chiciu and Marius Chiciu, and nephew of Mark and Maria Guyer.
Jhon had recently relocated to West Virginia with his parents, therefore the interment will take place close to their home. The funeral services will be held in Clear Spring, Maryland, led by Fr. Ștefan Drăgoi of the Nativity of the Theotokos Romanian Orthodox Church in Norfolk, VA.
On behalf of the entire parish, we extend our heartfelt prayers and condolences to The Chiciu and Vornicu Families who are mourning Jhon’s repose.
