Dora Freeman (nee Majevsky), 93, of West Babylon, reposed in Our Lord on Tuesday, August 23, 2022. +Dora is the mother of Dora Halpin (a longtime member and choir singer in our community before moving south several years ago) and was herself a member of our parish for many years.
From the funeral announcement: Predeceased by her beloved husband, Marvin W. Freeman, in 2017. Beloved mother of Elizabeth, Dora Halpin and her husband, Joseph, and Marvin W. Freeman, Jr. and his wife, Diane. Adored grandmother of Eric W. Freeman, Kristen Lutjen, and Jennifer Pensabene. Cherished great-grandmother of Brandon, Jayson, Franzi, Johnny, Danica, Eric and Dominic.
The wake will be held at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, 448 W. Main Street, Babylon, on Friday, August 26, 2022, from 2:00–4:30 PM, as well as from 7:00–9:30 PM.
The funeral will be held here at St. Andrew’s at Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at North Babylon Cemetery.
